Rubbermaid® Towable/Trainable Tilt And Utility Trucks; Towable, Trainable And Tough

Winchester, Va. (December 10, 2001) – The new line of towable and trainable trucks from Rubbermaid Commercial Products (RCP) eliminates the frustration of manual pushing and pulling large cumbersome loads. Made in utility and tiltable versions, they can be towed or "trained together" by lift or fork trucks to move large quantities of refuse, recycling items, raw materials or bulk parts.

Made of FDA and USDA compliant materials, Rubbermaid’s Towable/Trainable Trucks are durable and essentially maintenance free. The one-piece molded truck bodies have a seamless surface that’s easy to clean and won’t rust, dent or leak. They are best suited for the supermarket, construction, manufacturing and materials handling industries.

A heavy-duty tow bar, a reinforced metal frame and upgraded caster/wheels ensure that moving large-volume loads is safe and efficient using any one of these carts. For storage, dumping and non-towing applications, the tow hitch can be locked in the "up" position.

Each of these trucks now includes a "hitch pin" that allows multiple trucks to be "trained" together and towed by lift or fork trucks equipped with a tow bar rated for multiple truck training. The hitch pin inserts easily and remains secure under demanding conditions.
