Rubbermaid X-tra Housekeeping Carts Offer Right Size To Fit The Job
Winchester, Va. (May 19-22, 2001) – (CHICAGO, NATIONAL RESTAURANT ASSOCIATION SHOW 2001) The new line of X-tra™ Housekeeping Carts from Rubbermaid Commercial Products (RCP) provides a choice of three sizes and many features for making housekeeping services more efficient and productive. The Full Size X-tra™ Housekeeping Cart, the X-tra™ Compact Cart and the X-tra™ Restock and Service Cart are uniquely designed to fit varying types of housekeeping operations They're made of durable, easy-to-clean plastic with molded-in color to preserve a "like-new" appearance. Back and side clutter shields screen the top shelf for a more orderly presentation. All models feature smooth contours and contemporary styling to enhance the image of any operation.
The Full Size Cart and Compact Cart share standard features such as molded-in supply compartments and holders for long- and short-handled tools, non-marking casters that roll smoothly over various surfaces, and rotating bumpers to prevent accidental damage to walls.
The Full Size X-tra™ Housekeeping Cart (61B9) offers 52% more storage space than existing Rubbermaid carts plus an adjustable middle shelf to accommodate enough linen and supplies for servicing 15 rooms in a single load. A locking drawer holds miscellaneous items and locking cabinet doors help protect contents when the cart is not in use. An additional shelf under the deck holds extra supplies or a rack of drinking glasses. An expandable vinyl bag hangs on one end of the cart to hold large loads of dirty linen. Its side zipper allows easy emptying with minimal bending and lifting. A bracket on the opposite end holds a polyliner bag for waste collection.
The X-tra™ Compact Housekeeping Cart (6190) maneuvers and stores In tight spaces and helps Improve productivity. It offers generous storage In a smaller size, reducing trips to the supply closet. Attaching a Rubbermaid ® Slim Jim ® Container on the end of the cart increases waste collection capacity.
The X-tra™ Restock and Service Cart (6198) is perfect for housekeeping and food-beverage applications. It can be used as a stocking or turndown cart, or It can be customized to fit special needs by adding optional accessories such as the under-deck shelf, locking doors or locking drawer.
