Rubbermaid's WaveBrake® Mopping System Receives Blue Plate Award from Prep Magazine
New Mopping System Gains Recognition for Innovative Design
Winchester, VA, November 2, 2006 - Rubbermaid Commercial Products’ (RCP) WaveBrake® mopping system received an Editor’s Choice Blue Plate Award from Prep Magazine, a restaurant and food service industry publication. The award, recognizing products and services in the food service business in Kentucky, was presented to RCP’s WaveBrake® mopping system in the new equipment and technology category.
“I was very impressed with the innovative aspects of the WaveBrake® mopping system from Rubbermaid, most notably the dirty water/clean water separation within the bucket,” said Dan Weldy, editor of Prep Magazine. “After reviewing the product myself, and hearing numerous favorable comments from satisfied customers there was no question that this new product deserved award recognition.”
The innovative bucket design of the award-winning WaveBrake® mopping system reduces splashing by 40 percent and increases productivity by minimizing clean-ups. The molded-in “baffles” and wall configuration enable the bucket to reduce splashing and spilling by interrupting wave formation. In addition, WaveBrake’s “bucket in bucket” system prevents dirty water from re-circulating into the clean water, keeping unwanted dirt away from the mop and off the floor.
