Rubbermaid Commercial Products Recognized as "Best of the Best" by AmSan
Top national suppliers attend AmSan’s second annual awards ceremony
CHICAGO, Il. (June 22, 2004) – Approximately 50 executives from the nation’s 35 top janitorial and sanitation suppliers were in attendance for AmSan’s Executive Supplier Forum, June 22, 2004, in Chicago, Il. The feature award of the evening, Supplier of the Year, was conferred upon Rubbermaid Commercial Products and accepted on behalf of the company by Larry McIsaac, president, Bob Kibbe, sales vice president, and Bill Slezak, strategic account manager.
The award was presented by AmSan president Michael Mulhern, who acknowledged the successes and collaboration of the business represented by all of the invited guests. The top award went to Rubbermaid Commercial Products because the standards they set in terms of commitment, teamwork and financial results. Rubbermaid’s overall performance was quoted as being "best of the best".
"With AmSan’s business model, achieving Supplier of the Year means we’ve been firing on all cylinders, consistently, all year," explained Bill Slezak. "With 71 locations, AmSan requires a good deal of support from each of our customer service representatives. Every person among them had to be on their game. That same dynamic applies to our shipping, logistics, finance departments, and our field sales organization who manage the individual AmSan branches across the U.S. In addition, our manufacturing group, business teams, literature support, and management should take a bow for their role in this award, as well."
